Grampas Workshop has been in business since 2008.  Grampas Workshop is a small family owned and operated woodworking and yarn company located in Brooksville, Florida, USA. Our family has been making wooden and crochet toys, household items and gifts for over 8 years. Specializing in wooden and crochet toys, play food, truck and car crayon holders, paper towel, napkin holders, and other gifts and collectibles such as our large red neck line, our products have been sold at local craft shows, as well as online. and in some local shops. After all these years of making our toy's we still find it exciting to see a stock piece of lumber or a skein of yarn become a toy. It is great to see how excited a child becomes when playing with a toy that we have made.
We have our own website www.grampasworkshop.org  where we sell our products wholesale and retail, and at local craft shows.  We also have a website at www.grampasworkshop.etsy.com, and you can also twitter with us. 

Our products are made from a variety of top-quality hard and softwoods, many of which are harvested using Sustainable Forestry Practices. Our products are hand-crafted with the idea of ruggedness and quality in mind allowing our products to be cherished for years to come.

All of our products are handmade in the USA with pride and feature Non-Toxic and Lead-Free dyes and finishes. Our woods, parts and supplies are all bought from local companies based here in the USA. All of our products are 100% handcrafted! We do not use CNC, robotic, automated machines or laser cutters.

We are John & Valarie Ireland residing  in Brooksville, FL and we have 5 grown children, 2 boys and 3 girls.  We also have 5 grandchildren.  John loves to go into his workshop and work with wood.  He has been a craftsmen for 20+ years.  Inspired by our oldest grandson,  Grampas Workshop was created.  John enjoyed teaching our grandson his joy of woodworking,   John  enjoys camping, fishing, spending time outdoors, and working on our home.   Valarie has been crocheting for over 30+ years.  Her Nana taught her the love of a hook and needle.  In Valarie's  free time, she enjoys skyping with her grandchildren, working in their home, spoiling their black lab, Abby, shopping for the grandchildren, and finding that hidden deal.   Both John and Valarie love spending time with family and friends.  

Grampas Workshop will make as many items that you need.  We can create items from your patterns or ideas.  If you have something in mind that you would like to have made, but are unable to find a pattern, all you need to do is sit down with John, and tell him what you want.  John will listen to what you want, draw a sketch, and then go over it with you before he starts to make your piece. 

Custom Orders require a 50% non-refundable deposit when placing orders, and final payment due before shipping 

PAYMENT: I prefer Pay Pal; Visa, Master Card,  I will accept personal checks (with proper I.D.)  (NO money orders). Payment must be received within 7 days. All Maine Sales add 6.5% Sales Tax.

RETURN CHECK FEE:  There will be a $30 charge for any returned checks made to Grampas Workshop, plus any fees that our bank may charge us.   We will not accept another check for repayment.  You may send us a bank check,  money order, or pay with cash.  

SHIPPING – We ship to the United States and International. We only accept U. S. Currency.  We do not ship C.O.D.    We ship Priority Mail. If Pay Pal is used, we will ship within 2 business days. Personal checks must clear the bank before item is shipped. Insurance is required on all transactions regardless of final value. If shipping out of the United States I will need to get the shipping cost of item before purchase.

Satisfaction Guaranteed – Return policy is:   We must receive returned item within 7 business days if I have misrepresented, the item,  or  if customer is unsatisfied with the item.  Only the cost of the item will be refunded, Buyer will pay return shipping.    We will not offer a refund if damaged by misuse.  Once we have received your return and examined the item for damage, a credit will be issued.   Please allow two weeks from date of inspection for us to mail you your refund..  We will notify you by email of our determination.  All refunds will be mailed certified mail, no exceptions.
